Motion Designer: Localization Specialist (Freelance)

Haus is looking for a skilled Freelance Motion Designer with a specialized expertise in localization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong command of After Effects and Cinema4D and a detail-oriented approach to adapting motion graphics for multiple languages, regions, and platforms.
The ideal candidate is technically precise, highly organized, and thrives under tight deadlines. You should be comfortable working with pre-built templates and toolkits, adjusting typography, layouts, and animation timing to ensure localized versions maintain the quality and intent of the original creative.
Proficiency in After Effects and Cinema4D is essential. Familiarity with templated workflows, localization best practices, and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite is highly valued. Experience with motion graphics, typography, and versioning for streaming platforms is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Localize motion graphic files for multiple languages and formats
- Adjust typography, layout, and animation timing for various regions while preserving visual consistency
- Organize and maintain structured project files for streamlined versioning
- Collaborate with producers, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and brand alignment
- Deliver high-quality renders across multiple platforms under tight turnaround times
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of After Effects and Cinema4D
- Strong understanding of design principles and motion animation
- Solid understanding of localization workflows and efficiency tactics
- Bonus: Experience with keying, compositing, VFX, rotoscoping and finishing
You must be located in Los Angeles, as this role requires you to work in the office for certain projects. To be considered for this position, you need to be available to work on-site. Submissions that include a portfolio will be prioritized.
